Refresh bug in XFCE 4.6.x?

What Xorg driver? Do you you the compositor?

If you don't have a compositor, it's a driver bug.

Does that happen with Terminal only? Terminal is (cough cough) using
ARGB windows by default and that triggers all kind of problems with X
drivers. Disable ARGB or get rid of Terminal, whatever suits you best
