Hi list,

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced crashes with
xfce4-volstatus-icon plugin? Occasionally, when I have some usb device
plugged in and I left-click on the icon in the systray to unmount the
device, the plugin crashes. I can't discover any fixed pattern, though it
usually seems to happen when I have (or have had) two usb devices plugged
in at the same time.

Usually, I just restart xfce4-volstatus-icon from a Terminal window and all
is fine. The other day, however, the plugin kept crashing as soon as I
clicked the icon. It produced the following output to the terminal:

=======================================================================

** (xfce4-volstatus-icon:3652): CRITICAL **: ghal_volume_ensure_hal_volume: assertion `GHAL_IS_VOLUME(volume)' failed

** (xfce4-volstatus-icon:3652): CRITICAL **: ghal_volume_get_icon_list: assertion `ghal_volume_ensure_hal_volume(volume) && (context = _ghal_device_peek_context(GHAL_DEVICE(volume))) && (hal_ctx = _ghal_context_peek_libhal_context(context)) && (storage_drive = ghal_volume_get_storage_device(volume)) && (storage_hal_drive = _ghal_drive_peek_libhal_drive(GHAL_DRIVE(storage_drive)))' failed

(xfce4-volstatus-icon:3652): Gtk-WARNING **: gtktreestore.c:951: invalid object type `

=======================================================================

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be and/or where I should go
about reporting it?

Xfce 4.4.2 with xfce4-volstatus-icon v. 0.1.0.
