Are you using WHAT? ntfs-3g? or the native ntfs stuff in the kernel?
In Debian, ntfs-3g and fuse need to be installed.
Then the user that needs to use the FUSE filesystem needs to be a part
of the "fuse" group, you then need to make sure the "filesystem entry"
include user rights to mount it.
That is about it. Not exactly an XFCE related question... but good
enough.
