automount for ntfs hdd

Hi all. I'm using Gentoo  and Pardus with Xfce. When i plug-in my usb device
-that is formatted with fat32-, there's no problem. But when i plug-in my
removable harddisk -that is formatted with ntfs-, i could not see my files
and directories at the hdd. i must be root for this reason.

i want to use, mount and automount it with normal user rights. how can i do
it?
