xterm real fullscreen mode, without title bar?

The xfce terminal program has no support for VT100 application mode, which
is a MUST-HAVE feature for me. I have some programs which will not work
without having the numeric keypad in application mode.

All other terminal emulators with VT100 support I know of, have this
application mode.

I have already sent a bug-report:

http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3558

but so far no reaction.
