I would suggest you to open a bug report and append a patch.  Otherwise
you will wait for your desired behavior to come true some time before
the maintainer will take a tea and hack your wish.  Also, it sounds like
an really easy hack, so you might open your favorite editor and execute
some grep in your terminal.
