Kill, must kill!

With KDE you can [cntrl][alt][esc] and kill about anything. With my Xubuntu
I can do the same but most of the time it only removes the window and the
process
is still running which means I need to hope a terminal and do killall
firefox-bin. I've gotten used to just leaving the terminal window open with
those words in it (thanks Firefox for being a hog).

I too would like a real kill from the desktop.
