Somewhat related. . . I'm trying to use compiz and try as I might I can't
get it to start xfdesktop when I log in. I even put it on autostarted
applications, but no luck. I can start it manually after I'm in, but as long
as compiz and emerald are set up to be there when I log in I get no
xfdesktop without manual intervention. Am I missing something?

Thanks,
Jonathan
