My Themes Icons won't stay

Hi All,

   I am running XFce 4.4.1 on Cent OS 5 (RHEL 5 clone)

   Whenever I log into XFce, my desktop icons and
my Thunar icons change back to the "Fall Back" icons
shown in this link:

http://thunar.xfce.org/pwiki/documentation/faq#why_does_thunar_display_the_fallback_icon_for_all_files_and_folders

   If I go to settings, User Interface Settings,
choose a different Theme, then change back, I get my
icons back.  Any theme, from to, it does not matter.
And, the next time I login, they are gone again.

   How do I make my icons stay?
