Dear list,

I build my own .deb packages of svn versions of Xfce. This way I can
keep my system (Ubuntu 7.04) clean.

Since a few revisions I'm getting the following error:

Preparing to replace xfdesktop4 9999-24994 (using
.../xfdesktop4_9999-25087_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement xfdesktop4 ...
dpkg: xfdesktop4: warning - conffile `etc/xdg' is not a plain file or
symlink (= `/etc/xdg')
dpkg: error processing
/dev/shm/purtage/xfdesktop4-9999-r25087/xfdesktop4_9999-25087_i386.deb
(--install):
unable to create `./etc/xdg/menus/xfce-applications.menu': No such file
or directory
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /dev/shm/purtage/xfdesktop4-9999-r25087/xfdesktop4_9999-25087_i386.deb

... and Xfdesktop fails to install.

If this is more debian/ubuntu related, please let me know and I'll try
to find an other mailing list to bother...

Cheers!
