FreeBSD-6.2
Xfce-4.4.0 (Xfce 4.4)
Scenario:
Right Click Desktop
Click <Multimedia>
Click <MPlayer>
At that point an error message is displayed:
[ws] Shared Memory Extension Error
I can run mplayer fine if I start it from a terminal but not from the
desktop. I have tried Googling for a solution; however, I have not been
able to ascertain a viable one.

I have had my television aerials removed. It's the moral equivalent
of a prostate operation.
