Insert->Picture->From File. Ctrl-C (or right click -> Copy)
OO.o Writer 2
Ctrl-V (or right click -> paste)
Doesn't work. Same with drawings (smiley, rectangle).

Selection -> Edit -> Copy

Ctrl-V (or right click -> Paste)
Doesn't work.

Maybe I'm missing something here...
