How do I move files in Thunar?

Thunar only does this when you drag and drop files from one device to another.
If you do the same on one and the same device, Thunar directly moves the files.

One possible solution is to drag and drop via the right mouse button. If you
release it at the target location, a menu pops out letting you
copy/move/symlink/cancel.
