Clicking a link in thunderbird brings browser to current workspace

Hi

I do not know if this is xfce or ubuntu or thunderbird related. I 
thought I'd just give it a shot here.

I upgraded from 6.06 Xubuntu to 6.10 and installed xfce4.4 using the 
graphical installer. When clicking a link in an email in thunderbird, it 
opens in firefox. Ok. But firefox is pulled to the current 
(thunderbird-)workspace.
Before the upgrade the browser staid in its workspace.

Is there a way to get this behaviour back?
