Brian,
As to the question as to what to include and not to include,
I presumed that you would only include the one that added
functionality to the settings panel, such as the screen saver
that you mentioned. In other words, you would include
"the good ones".
In my humble opinion, gdmsetup is one of these. This
is why I ask that you, now that I know you are one of
the developers, to look at it. It should only
take you a minute or so to either love it or hate it.
And, maybe I should say why I like gdmsetup:
1) it allows me to configure gdm to automatically log
in a user, and
2) it allow me to configure gdm's "graphical greater"
when I am not automatically being logged in. (I
usually use "Happy gnome")
I do believe these two functions are not included
in the settings control panel. If I am wrong, I would
appreciate you letting me know which icon in settings
controls these two functions. If they are and mine
are not working, I will fill out one of your bug
reports.
By they way, you do good work. XFce is a great
piece of code.
Many thanks,
--Tony
