System menu missing

Of course.  Whether it will be the same on other operating systems, I 
don't know.  The file I used was:

file:///etc/X11/xdg/xfce4/desktop/menu2.xml  Use the menu editor > Edit 
 >Add external.

I tried one other file in that folder (menu.xml) but it was unproductive).

The branch missing in my case is the Office branch of the system menu.
