Yum without its plugins his cheap, to me the couple dpkg+apt tools (apt-cache, apt-ftparchive
apt-cdrom, apt-get, apt-config, apt-key, apt-extracttemplates, apt-sortpkgs and deborphan) is
more powerful than rpm+yum. Emerge and abs+pacman are very interesting too, the problem with
rpm distros is they're very different in the dependencies management, it's worse than with
the Debian based distros.
