installing theme

Hi all,
   I have a theme that I would like to install into xfce.

   I have googled and rtfm'd to get a clue.  No luck.

   I do not seem to be able to find a theme folder in the home
   directory, or within /usr.

   I thought that seeing as the theme has as folder name xfwm4 that
   the contents would go into that folder in the .config folder. I did
   that but the theme is not recognised.

   So how would I install it and get xfce4 to recognise it?
