Default desktop configuration?

In general, $prefix/etc/xdg

So on my system, where Xfce is installed in /usr, I have these directories

/usr/etc/xdg/Thunar
/usr/etc/xdg/autostart
/usr/etc/xdg/xfce4
/usr/etc/xdg/xfce4-session
/usr/etc/xdg/xfmedia
