XFCE crashing -

Thanks for the suggestions, I suspect that removing  
".config/xfce4/mcs_settings/gtk.xml" was what I was looking for.

But I have already reinstalled FC6 with xfce, a clean install this time 
rather than the update from FC5.  The problem with xfce gave the impetus 
I needed.  I had been considering doing that for a week now.  The 
biggest problem is the extensive updating after the install.  I'm done 
with that and have Navicat/MySql up and running perfectly, the most 
important part of the effort.
