Question regarding installing 4.4

Hello friends,

this is the situation, I installed 4.4 with the help of the graphic
installer
on my Mandrakesystem, I installed it without uninstalling the RPM's
that I had for 4.2.3 and now when I try to restart Xfce I still get
4.2.3 when I do an About Xfce, do I need to uninstall the old RPM's to
get it to work as 4.4 or is the graphical installers placing the executable
files somewhere else?
