Eclipse Search Dialog

Running Eclipse (the IDE) on XFCE4 I find the Search Dialog unusable,
because it shows up too small: the text fields are only 20 pixels
wide. Under Gnome I don't have the problem.

Would this be an Eclipse problem, or am I missing an XFCE
configuration? Or are more details required for diagnosis?

This is with debian-sarge, and the latest Eclipse (3.1.1)
