Only sorta. The binary nvidia driver disables GLX when Composite is
active, but you can override this. However, doing so generally leads to
weird screen corruption and occasional X server crashes. YMMV.
Unless this has changed in the latest driver. My old nvidia card can't
handle Composite and still be usable, so I haven't tried it in quite a
while.
