Hi all,

Thanks for trying to answer my question. Anyway, I solved my
predicament by installing the modules locally under ~/perl
using the instructions at 

http://servers.digitaldaze.com/extensions/perl/modules.html

and then setting the environment variable PERL5LIB. I was
then able to compile Terminal. It looks pretty good.
