configurable features?

Hi,
 
I am working with the xfce4 that comes with fc2. There are two features I would like to configure in a different way if that were possible:
 
- when I move a window to desktop x, then desktop x becomes the active one. I do not want to move to desktop x, I only want to move the window
 
- if I move to desktop x, where there is only one window, this window does not get the focus automatically. Is it possible to change this bahaviour?
