It's not yet alpha yet, and still depends on a not yet released
version of libexo.

However, it is very stable, just not featureful enough to actually use
(like, no copy/move functionality).

You can get snapshots for libexo from:

And you can get Thunar snapshots from:
http://thunar.xfce.org/download/snapshots/devel/

You can see a screenshot of the mockup of Thunar (which was written in
Python) here:

The Thunar interface is pretty well settled. You can see a screenshot
of the current SVN Thunar (which may or may not have a snapshot yet)
