Xfce is about promoting choice and keeping things simple and clean.
Also, the Xfce team has certain style in mind when designing applications.
In the past and today still, ROX' filer doesn't fit and the ROX
developers have acknowledged the differences, and that's how it most
likely will be forever. This choice has been made by both the ROX team
and the Xfce team.
Xffm will not be dumped, Nor will thunar be the 'only' filemanager for
Xfce. Using ROX will still be possible. This makes Xfce different then
all the other desktops: we won't force you to use konqueror or nautilus,
and we won't take the choice away from you too.
