making wallpaper span desktops?

I'm using TwinView in xfce-4.2.2, but I can't seem to find a way to make
desktop wallpaper span both desktops.  When I go into desktop settings,
i've got two separate tabs, 'Screen 0' & 'Screen 1' instead of just one
screen like I should.  Anyone know what i'm missing?
