So is ls, but you don't see it in the menu either.
The reason is that the autogenerated menu lists applications
discovered by checking your system for apps which have installed
.desktop files (ie gimp.desktop) in a standard location. This files
assert that it is a "desktop" app, and tells a little about it.
If GtkSee doesn't install a .desktop file, it must be added manually.
