xfce4.2 does not start

this is harmless, but kinda lame - for some reason it looks like that 
file is owned by root.  you should delete that.

this is pretty messed up.  all X distributions should have xrdb with 
it.  perhaps your PATH is set incorrectly?  missing xrdb will cause a 
few things to not work properly, but it shouldn't be fatal.

here's the major problem.  did libxfce4util not get updated?  or is 
there something stale on the system that's somehow causing xfce4-session 
to link against an old copy of libxfce4util?  i'd say uninstall all of 
the xfce RPMs, check around your filesystem for stale files, delete any 
you find, and reinstall the RPMs.
