Why xfprint-manager does not show the printers?

Hi,

I installed xfce 4.2.0 in local directory 
(/home/xan/temporal/xfce4.2-local/xfce4dir). When I 
run /home/xan/temporal/xfce4.2-local/xfce4dir/bin/xfprint-manager appear no 
printer.

In 4.2rc3 (that I replaced by 4.2.0 it showed me all printers: cups and lpr)

Why?
