No that I think about it, the version number of the libraries was
changed between 4.0 and 4.2 so that the old workspace plugin wouldn't
load, but that still looks to be what your problem is. It sound like
your upgrade to 4.2 is incomplete perhaps? I can't even imagine how
that would happen.

How did you upgrade? Did you uninstall 4.0.x first?
