How to avoid duplicate entries in desktop system menu?

I don't think so. I have done a quick search with locate (its dbs holds
also files in my home directory) and "dpkg --listfiles qalculate|grep -i desktop",
and both are showing me only the two, already known, desktop files for
that application.
