torsmo with xfce4

hi all,
i recently experimented with fluxbox and liked its minimalism but not
the bugs (slow startup - problems with utf-8). so i tried to have a
minimal xfce4 instead.
now my .xsession looks like this:

xftaskbar&
xfwm4&
exec xfdesktop

this works fine and exit works correctly. but how do i start eg. torsmo
(system monitor which draws on background)? ive tried all sorts but
couldnt get xfdesktop to start if torsmo came after and couldnt get
torsmo to draw if it came before in .xsession. anybody have a suggestion?

btw - i really think it looks and feels better without the panel - try
it out - right click in margins in stead...
