Features for a Next XFCE

It's many years ago now, but I'm sure that FVWM 1.x could do something like 
that where you could set the desktop according the window properties (I don't 
remember how it was done although I do recall that it required editing 
the .fvwmrc file) and I've never used FVWM 2.x so I don't know if it's still 
possible.
