Just everyone having a bit of fun at your expense. As you may notice, 
xfce is about applications doing one job well. Adding browsing 
functionality to a file manager is not the kind of feature that would be 
popular here.

Don't worry, if you need that kind of functionality Konqueror will work 
just fine under Xfce -- use that.
