The problem is now fixed (revision 16965). The trouble was that the
session manager was appending --display.0:0 to the command line, and
xffm-deskview allows you to specify an alternate path for your desktop
directory, and was thinking you wanted to create your desktop at
$HOME/--display.0:0. Now it will not create the directory if it does not
exist, but rather fallback to default $HOME/Desktop. IOW, if you execute
"xffm-deskview $HOME", you will have your desktop located at $HOME and
not $HOME/Desktop.

Due to this quirk probably have a directory called --display.0:0 and/or
--session_id. You should delete these.

I'm going to release 4.3.3.1 with this fix, since it is important.
