XFFM and xedit

Hi all,

I use XFFM as my filemanager and like it a lot. I am looking forward to install
(emerge) the new version.
Would there be a way to change the default editor when right-clicking on
a file? I had answers on the forum some time ago that I should just type
open with... and say remember. That is a good solution but if there can be
an xedit in the menu by default why wouldn't there be a mousepad by default
or whichever editor you use?
