What exactly are you trying to get? I've been running xfce 4.x since it 
was pre-alpha so I don't really remember what the old-style button 
looked like.

You might be able to get a reasonable approximation, if you can explain 
exactly what you want.

IAC, there isn't very much in common between 4.x and 3.x  both in terms 
of looks or code so it would be quite difficult to replicate a 3.x 
configuration.
