Now, now ... lets not scare the users.

And IAC, if you look closely, you'll see that there are multiple people 
in the thread, no one of whom is being unreasonable.

You have to realise, Brian, that for non-programmers it's not 
unreasonable to equate the taskbar with the functionality it provides.

And for the users: Don't worry, you will not see any major regressions 
in functionality. Things will be more flexible and featureful.
