Some settings (don't recall which) will probably get lost due to weird
format changes, but most should be migrated properly.  I'd recommend
backing up ~/.xfce4 before upgrading.  Note that, after the upgrade, all
settings will be in ~/.config/xfce4, with some transient data stored in
~/.cache/xfce4 and ~/.cache/sessions.
