An uninstaller is provided, and the uninstaller is mentioned during
the install process. The uninstaller also creates a .desktop file so
that it shows up in you Xfce system menu.
Clearly the installer has a bug, which seems to conflict with X or
GTK+. Perhaps you should consider directly informing the developers?
The Xfce Installer webpage asks that you use the forum to report bugs,
and Benny is certainly active on those forums. They even helpfully
provide a link.

details as a response? That is likely to be maximally efficient.
