Xfce Digest, Vol 11, Issue 32

Hi,
My desktop menu doesn't appear on right clicking.
I'm running the latest beta on a slackware 10 machine.

I posted this question before and someone suggested that i look in to the
desktop seetings.
Yes the desktop menu is enabled there.
and menu.xml files are present in  both .config/xfce4 and .config/xfce4/desktop.

I will really appreciate some help.
should i report this as a bug or am i missing something?
