File locations in Xfce 4.2

As most of you might have already noticed, the file locations have 
changed in Xfce 4.2. Since this led to quite some confusion, I've put a 
page online where I describe the important - user visible - changes.

Francois: Can you please link this from the website (a FAQ entry would 
be best IMHO)?

Plugin writers: If you need to store additional information (that 
doesn't go into the panel contents.xml), please update your code to use 
the xfce_resource_* functions instead of xfce_get_userfile (maybe with a 
fallback for 4.0 users). There was some discussion where to store plugin 
configuration files to, but I couldn't find the mail. :-(

In addition, it would be nice if we could include this (in a compressed 
form) in the next release notes to reduce the number of "My ~/.xfce4 dir 
is empty, whats wrong?" questions in #xfce, in the forum and on the 
mailinglists in the future.
