xfce 4.2 beta 1 on SuSE

Hello,

I installed the 4.2 beta on on SuSE 9.1 using the rpms from
http://www.students.oamk.fi/~olilju00/xfce4/4.2beta1/ and have
experienced the following:

* No desktop menu.
* Panel crashes when adding the xfce menu.
* Dialog window for xfce setting manager will not open.
* Task bar is blank (no system tray, graphical pager, and task
switcher).
* Link to the mixer rpm is broken.

I first did an upgrade from 4.0.6, then did a clean install, as well as
moving my ~/.xfce4/menu.xml file to a backup folder and still had these
issues.  User error?
