How to set xfce as default WM when using gdm

I've just upgraded to Slackware 10 and for whatever reason xdm won't
work any more (I think it's an IPV6 issue) so I'm using gdm instead.

When starting gdm it allows you to select the window manager you want
but defaults to gnome. I'm getting bored with forgetting to select
xfce and having to shut gnome down and start again.

So how do I set the default to xfce? I've looked at the gdm
documentation but it doesn't seem to tell me how to do this.

On closer inspection it would seem that gdm defaults to 'Last' (i.e.
presumably the last WM that was running) but this just gives me Gnome
every time. Maybe I need to 'save' my xfce session somehow/somewhere
so that it is recorded as my 'Last' session, any idea how I might do
this?
