System tray plugin

Hi,

I use mail-notification [1] to notify me of new mail in my local IMAP
account and have noticed that it doesn't disappear properly when there
is no mail. There is supposed to by a tray icon when there is new mail,
and nothing when there is not, but all that happens is the icon
disappears leaving behind a grey square. When using the Gnome panel the
grey square isn't present.
Is this a problem with XFCE? I'm using version 4.1.91.

Thanks,
