this would actually be a really nifty feature, and is something i miss a 
lot from metacity.  basically how it works is that you show the icon of 
each window in the floating box in the center, in several rows if 
necessary, with the currently-focused window selected (with a box around 
it or whatever).  they you put the name of the currently-selected window 
above or below the icons.  that way you can glance, and say "oh, the 
window i want is 6 windows away in the tab order", and hit tab 6 more 
times, without having to tab, stop-and-read, tab-stop-and-read, etc. 
etc.

i dunno - this might be a bit of a heavy feature to justify including, 
but, if not, it would be nice.
