hmm, just checked my installer, and it does install the iconbox (or at 
least it should.  make sure you have bin/xfce4-iconbox in whatever 
prefix you installed xfce4.  do you have a ~/.xfce4/xinitrc?  if so, 
make sure there's a line in there to start the iconbox.  otherwise, it 
should be started from etc/xfce4/xinitrc (again, under whatever prefix 
you installed xfce4).
