Thank you, Jack!
Now it works. Inserting snd-pcm-oss (with snd-mixer-oss) provides /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer devices and volume control plugin works with "aterm -e /usr/bin/alsamixer" command. 
Also "/usr/sbin/alsactl restore" restores previously saved default values.
